INPEX Scholarship 2026 – Benefits and Financial Coverage

All selected scholars receive full financial support from the INPEX Scholarship Foundation. Here's what the scholarship includes:

For Indonesian, Australian, and UAE Recipients:

1. Round-trip airfare from home country to Japan
2. Full tuition coverage: including admission and entrance exam fees
3. Monthly stipend of ¥160,000 for living expenses
4. Commuter pass expenses
5. Preparatory/settlement allowance upon arrival in Japan
6. Scholarship duration: Up to 2 years and 8 months

For Japanese Scholarship Recipients:

1. Monthly stipend of ¥150,000
2. Round-trip airfare between Japan and the destination country (Indonesia, Australia, or UAE)
3. Duration: Up to 2 years

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the INPEX Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following nationality-specific and general requirements:

For Indonesian Applicants:

1. Must be an Indonesian citizen
2. Completed a degree in Natural Sciences from an Indonesian university
3. Achieved a minimum GPA of 3.00
4. Under 30 years old
5. Must obtain a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from a Japanese graduate school/professor

For Australian Applicants:

1. Must be an Australian citizen
2. Graduated from a major Australian university in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Natural Sciences
3. GPA of at least 3.00/4.0 or 5.25/7.0
4. Under 30 years of age
5. Must obtain a LOA from a Japanese graduate school/professor

For UAE Applicants:

1. Must be a UAE national
2. Graduated from a recognized UAE university in Social Sciences, Humanities, or Natural Sciences

For Japanese Applicants (Outbound Scholarship):
