Degree Level
USTC China Undergraduate Fellowship 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at University of Science and Technology of China.

The USTC Fellowship offers two levels:
- Level A (Comprehensive Support):

- Monthly stipend of 2,500 RMB

Applicants can choose to apply for either or both levels during the application process. USTC evaluates each applicant's qualifications comprehensively to decide the appropriate level of support.
Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities. (Except Chinese)
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the USTC Fellowship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Nationality:
- Be a non-Chinese citizen with a valid passport.
- Must be in good physical and mental health.
Language Proficiency:
- Pass HSK Level 5 or above.
- Applicants with Chinese as their native language or those who studied in a Chinese-taught high school can apply for an HSK test exemption.
For Emigrants:
- Emigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan must have obtained foreign citizenship before April 30, 2021.
- They should have lived abroad for at least two years between April 30, 2021, and April 30, 2025 (with over 9 months of residence abroad annually).
Education:
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent by July 2025.
- Graduating students must provide a Pre-graduation Certificate.
Age:
- Applicants must be under 30 years of age by September 1, 2025.
Scholarship Restrictions:
Applicants who are receiving other Chinese scholarships for 2025-2026 are not eligible.

- From October 20, 2024, to March 31, 2025.

Fill and Submit Application:
- Complete all required fields, upload documents, and submit your application. Keep checking your email for updates regarding interviews and documentation.
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare and upload the following documents:
- Application Form for International Students (Annex II)
- Photocopy of a valid passport (including Chinese visa/residence permit if applicable)
- Notarized copies of high school graduation certificate and transcripts (Pre-graduation Certificate required for students graduating in 2025)
- Proof of HSK Level 5 (or evidence of studying in a Chinese-taught high school)
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Annex III)
- Recommendation letter from high school (in Chinese or English)
- Guardian Statement (for applicants under 18 as of September 1, 2025)
- Additional documents for emigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan.
