Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a scholarship, student-athletes must:
- Fulfill all requirements of the Breakthrough Programme and the specific criteria for the desired Sports Scholarship.
- Be enrolled in a course at the University of Bath, taking at least 30 credits.
- Have a clean disciplinary record with no current ineligibility from anti-doping violations or penalties under Student Regulation 7 (Disciplinary Regulations for Students).

Application Procedure
- To apply for a sport scholarship for the 2024/25 academic year, individuals must complete an online form for the Breakthrough Programme that can be found here, providing information detailing how they meet the sporting criteria.
- To apply to a Sport Scholarship, tick “Yes” to question number 14 of the form.
- The online form will open on Friday 31stMay 2024 and close on Friday 27th September 2024.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on the selection criteria and supporting statements. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to an informal interview with the Performance Sport Officer and Head of Performance Sport in the week commencing 7thOctober 2024.
