MSD Animal Health, in collaboration with the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), is offering a remarkable opportunity for veterinary students to apply for one of 34 scholarships worth $5,000 each. Scholarship Overview
The scholarship targets veterinary students enrolled in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of study by October 2024. Applicants must be in good academic standing and studying at a recognized veterinary institution accredited by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE). The program is open to citizens of European countries that are members of the Council of Europe. It’s essential to note that recipients of previous MSD/FVE scholarships are ineligible for this round of awards.

Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to students from European country (Member of Council of Europe).
Eligibility Criteria
- Not be recipients of any previous MSD/FVE scholarship;
- Veterinary students enrolled in the 3rd to 4th and 5th year on October 2024;
- Currently enrolled and in good standing at a recognized veterinary establishment in their country
(a veterinary establishment member of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education – EAEVE – as of October 2024) with the status of approved-accredited-conditionally/pending accreditation; - Citizen of a European country (Member of Council of Europe).
Review and Selection Process
The selection process will be managed by the FVE/IVSA Review Committee, ensuring impartiality and fairness. No representative from a veterinary school will be allowed to evaluate applicants from their institution, and employees or contractors of MSD Animal Health will not participate in the selection process.
Application Procedure
Interested applicants must:
- Complete the official application form.
- Submit letters of recommendation from both their Dean and a Professor.
- Provide evidence of financial need.
- Send all documents in a single PDF file to the FVE office by the deadline of 30 October 2024.
