ARES Scholarships for Developing Countries : Belgium is open for Selected Countries . The scholarship allows Masters level program(s) in the field of AquaCulture, Health, Food Technology, Economics, international development studies, Agriculture, Environment, Geographic Information System, Microfinance, Human Rights taught at Belgium Universities . The deadline of the scholarship is .

Masters level and short term programs are offered program are offered every year by ARES for students hailing from developing countries. The courses are carried out within a higher education
institution of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Belgium. Participating universities and other institutions take part in this program.

ARES Scholarships for Developing Countries : Belgium is available to undertake Masters level programs at Belgium Universities.

Eligible Nationalities

  • Benin, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cuba, Ecuador, Ethiopia (only for training courses in English).
  • Haiti, Madagascar, Morocco, Niger, Peru, the Philippines, the DR Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, and Vietnam

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Be a citizen from above mentioned developing countries.
  2. not above age of 40 years for degree program and 45 for training courses.
  3. Have earned a diploma comparable to a graduate-level diploma from Belgian university studies. Nevertheless, for certain training courses, different requirements may be requested, which will be specified below;
  4. Possess relevant professional experience in a developing country of at least two years after graduate studies, or of three years after their studies if the applicant has earned a post-grad degree from a university in an industrialized country;
  5. Have good mastery of written and spoken French. For training courses held in another language, it is essential to have a proper level in the course’s language, both written and spoken. We shall insist that the applicant commit to learning French in order to take part in daily life in Belgium;
  6. Apply for only one training course.

Application Procedure

To apply for the scholarship, complete the scholarship application form and send to ARES (rue Royale 180, 1000 Brussels, Belgium) BY POST or EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE ONLY, which must have received it by 7 February 2020.

*Before 10 January 2020 for the following courses:

  • • Stage en contrôle de qualité et assurance qualité des médicaments et produits de santé
