Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate Students: Open to both incoming and continuing full-time Master's and Doctoral students.
- Field of Study: Research or coursework must be directly connected to Process Engineering Metallurgy and its application to Environmental or Energy challenges.
- Academic Achievement: Minimum GPA requirement of a straight 'A' (or its equivalent).
- Incoming Students: Active involvement in engineering activities relevant to your chosen field of study is a prerequisite.
- Continuing Students: A strong record of research and academic performance is essential. This can be demonstrated through participation in teaching assistantships, presenting research at conferences or seminars, or publishing peer-reviewed research articles.
Application Procedure
- Applications are submitted through the Lassonde Fluid Review website, an online application system.
- New applicants will need to create an account to log in and access the application form.
- The application can be completed in multiple sessions and saved for progress tracking.

Selection Process:
- The Lassonde School of Engineering awards adjudication committee will review applications and select a recipient by July 30th.
- The successful candidate will be notified by the Lassonde awards committee. Award details will then be forwarded to the Scholarships & Awards Coordinator at the Faculty of Graduate Studies (FGS) who will arrange for the funds to be deposited into the student's account for the following Fall term.
