Benefits
The scholarship is for a maximum of two years and covers a portion of your educational expenses. Here's a breakdown of the benefits:
- Tuition and Accommodation: We'll waive your tuition fees and accommodation fees for a double room for the entire two-year duration of the scholarship.
- Living Allowance: You'll receive a monthly living allowance of 1,700 yuan to help with your living expenses during the scholarship period.
- Basic Medical Insurance: We'll provide basic medical insurance for you while you're a scholarship recipient.
Please Note:
The scholarship covers expenses for the two-year funding period only. You'll be responsible for any costs you incur beyond that timeframe. These expenses will be charged according to the same standards that apply to self-funded students.
Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities. (except Chinese citizens)
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree.
- Age: Applicants must be under 35 years old at the time of application.
- Chinese Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate a minimum level of Chinese proficiency equivalent to the new HSK level 5 or a comparable standard.

How to Submit Your Application
You can submit your application materials in two ways:

Important Dates

Selection Process and Notification
Yanbian University will review your application materials. If shortlisted, you'll receive an "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Foreign Students in China" in early August. These documents will help you apply for a student visa.
Additional Notes
- All application materials must be submitted in Chinese or English. If your documents are in another language, you'll need to include a notarized translation in Chinese or English.
- Yanbian University graduates are not required to submit graduation certificates and transcripts.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected and won't be returned.
- Applications sent by fax or email will not be accepted.
