What Does the Fellowship Offer?
The University of St Andrews provides Global Fellows with a comprehensive support package, including:
- A stipend of £1,000 per 28-day visit (or a pro-rata amount for shorter stays).
- Self-catered accommodation in a one-bedroom apartment or equivalent.
- Return airfare in economy class, arranged by the University.
- Airport transfers to and from St Andrews.
- Access to world-class IT and library facilities.
Fellows are expected to participate in scholarly activities, deliver research seminars, and engage with students and staff. For those unable to visit in person due to caring responsibilities or other commitments, a fully virtual fellowship or a shorter visit can be arranged.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Hold a PhD degree or equivalent.
- Be employed at a university, research institute, or similar organization outside the UK.
- Demonstrate a strong research profile and alignment with the academic interests of the host School at St Andrews.
