Project Overview
The FlexECon Project explores consumer behavior and energy consumption flexibility in Ireland. Candidates will work with real-world energy data and conduct field experiments to assess how consumers respond to Time-of-Use (ToU) pricing and informational signals. The project’s goals include:
- Designing and testing new behavioral strategies alongside ToU tariffs.
- Employing quasi-experimental methods to analyze pricing responsiveness.
- Identifying the most effective methods to enhance energy efficiency and adaptability.
