Duties and Expectations:
As a recipient of this esteemed scholarship, students are expected to:
- Maintain Academic Excellence: Sustain a GPA of ≥ 3.3 at the PhD level.
- Full-Time Enrollment: Enroll full-time, committing to a minimum of 9 credits/semester at the PhD level.
- Full-Time Presence: Be available at UAEU full-time, contributing a minimum of 40 hours/week to coursework and/or research projects throughout the academic year.

The primary objective of the "PhD Scholarship" is to attract and enroll exceptionally accomplished graduate students in specific disciplines at UAEU, offering comprehensive and sustained financial assistance to facilitate their pursuit of advanced studies within the university. The allocation of PhD Scholarship Awards follows a rigorous and competitive evaluation process, considering diverse criteria such as applicants' academic records (including GPA), scholarly achievements (journal publications, conference presentations, patents), GRE scores, recommendation letters, and the institution from which they graduated. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
Academic Excellence:
- Maintain a GPA of ≥ 3.5/4.0 in their Master's degree.
Financial Independence:
- Demonstrate financial need by having no current employment or other financial sponsorship.
Research Alignment:
- Possess a dissertation focused on addressing challenges within one of the UAE's priority sectors, including but not limited to Renewable Energy, Transportation, Health, Water, Technology, and Space.
