There are basically 3 types of HAJJ... Tamattu' - Qiran - Ifraad.
1.Tamattu:-
means to intend for UMRA in HAJJ season at MIQAAT and later on go for HAJJ with the same Ihram,means that one does not have to go to MIQAAT to where the Ihram again or do the niyyat again.
The niyyat made is "Labbayk-Allahumma labbayka bi'Umrah!" "O Allah! I answer Your call to perform `Umrah."
2.Qiran:-
means to combine HAJJ and UMRA togeteher.,that is at the MIQAAT ,the Haji makes the niyyat for both HAJJ and UMRA together.
The niyyat made is "Labbayk-Allahumma labbayka bi-Hajjin wa-'Umrah!" "O Allah! I answer Your call to perform Hajj and 'Umrah!"
The niyyat made is "Labbayk-Allahumma labbayka bi-Hajjin wa-'Umrah!" "O Allah! I answer Your call to perform Hajj and 'Umrah!"
3.Ifraad:-
means that the Haji makes niyyat for Hajj only at MIQAAT
The niyyat made is " Labbayk-Allahumma labbayka bi-Hajj!" "O Allah! I answer Your call to perform Hajj."
