Sydney Speaks Master’s Thesis Award is open for International Students, Domestic Students Australian or any International nationality holder student. The scholarship allows Masters for Thesis work level program(s) in the field of Linguistics taught at Australian National University . The deadline of the scholarship is .
Eligibility Criteria:
The award will be available each year to a prospective student who is:
- a domestic or international student
- enrolled/enrolling in the Masters of General and Applied Linguistics (Advanced) program in the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics
- enrolled or approved to enrol in a relevant Linguistics thesis course in the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics, namely THES8102
- interested in researching variation and change in Australian English that will contribute to the Sydney Speaks project
Scholarship Benefits:
This scholarship offers a one off payment of $4,000 paid at the beginning of the semester/session in which you commence your supervised thesis course.

Applications are open from 1 July - 1 September for commencement in semester 1 the following year, and from 1 March - 30 April for commencement in semester 2.
