The Global Leadership Challenge 2024 (GLC) invites 100 emerging leaders to engage in responsible leadership and tackle today’s pressing challenges. Through a rigorous selection process, GLC is searching for postgraduate students and young professionals who demonstrate a commitment to creating positive change in the world.

What is the Global Leadership Challenge?

The Global Leadership Challenge (GLC) 2024 brings together a diverse group of young leaders from around the world. It aims to foster skills in responsible leadership while addressing complex global challenges through design thinking principles. The program is a collaboration between the Oxford Character Project and the St. Gallen Symposium, creating an inspiring environment for participants to learn, grow, and lead for the greater good of society.

Switzerland Global Leadership Challenge 2024 is available to undertake Conference level programs at Switzerland Universities.

Eligible Nationalities

Open to students of all nationalities.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Global Leadership Challenge 2024, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a student currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program, or a young professional aged between 21-30 years.
  • Have completed your undergraduate studies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to responsible leadership through previous extra-curricular activities or work experience.
  • Be able to invest five half-days from 12-16 December 2024 for active participation.
  • Full engagement during the program is mandatory to receive the Certificate of Achievement.
  • The GLC welcomes applications from all academic disciplines and backgrounds.

  • Results Announcement: Mid-November 2024, when the selected GLC 2024 members will be announced.
