Program Overview
The Stanford University SURF 2025 is an eight-week summer residential program designed to expose undergraduate students to groundbreaking research opportunities in various engineering disciplines. Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to domestic and international students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Stanford SURF 2025 program, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be currently enrolled full-time in an accredited public or private college/university in the United States or its territories
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (exceptions considered based on progression)
- Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a PhD in engineering
- Be available to stay on Stanford's campus for the entire program duration (June 21 - August 16, 2025)
- International students must be first-generation and/or from a low socioeconomic background
