Monash University, a member of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight, is now accepting applications for Round 3 of the Monash International Tuition Scholarship (MITS) 2025. This fully funded scholarship supports high-achieving international students undertaking graduate research degrees by covering 100% of tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Monash University Australia International Tuition Scholarship (MITS) 2025 – Round 3 is available to undertake Masters, PhD level programs at Monash University.

The MITS Round 3 Scholarship includes:
- Full course tuition fee coverage for the entire duration of your degree.
- Single Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) policy for international students.
Note: MITS does not provide a living allowance. Applicants may also apply for a Monash Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend or other scholarships to support living expenses.
Eligible Nationalities
Open to applicants of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for MITS Round 3, applicants must:
- Be an international student (non-Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident).
- Be applying for, or currently enrolled in, a Research Doctorate or Research Masters program at Monash.
- Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection requirements, including academic excellence and research potential.
- Fulfill English language proficiency criteria.
- Obtain an invitation to apply from the relevant faculty (for new applicants only).
- Meet Monash’s admission requirements for graduate research degrees.
Note: Eligible Joint Research Award candidates (with Monash as the home institution) may also apply.

The MITS is highly competitive and awarded based on:

- Quality of previous research work
- Research outputs and publications
- Alignment with Monash’s research strengths

Steps to Apply:
- New applicants must first obtain an invitation to apply from their Monash faculty.
- Submit your admission and scholarship application together via the Applicant Portal.
- You will automatically be considered for all eligible graduate research scholarships, including MITS.
