Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements:
- Be admitted to Makerere University's main campus (undergraduate) or Master's program (graduates). Apply for admission to Makerere University first.
- Have completed the highest level of education required for your program (e.g., A-Levels for undergrad) in an African country.
- Face significant financial hardship.
- Demonstrate leadership potential and a history of community service.
- Not hold any other scholarships.
- Not be enrolled in or have completed another relevant degree program (undergrad or Master's).
- Be under the age limit:
- 28 for general applicants (undergrad)
- 32 for refugees and students with disabilities (undergrad)
- 35 for general applicants (Master's)
- 40 for refugees and students with disabilities (Master's)
- Refugees must be recognized and registered, with proof attached to the application.
Note: Only admitted students to Makerere University will be considered for the scholarship selection process.
