Laura Bassi Scholarship 2024 in USA
Description
The Laura Bassi Scholarship: Supporting Neglected Research in All Fields
The Laura Bassi Scholarship is a unique opportunity for postgraduate students (master's and PhD) and early-career academics (within 5 years of full-time work) to get editorial assistance for their research on underexplored topics within their disciplines. Established in 2018 by the Editing Press, the scholarship honors Laura Bassi, a pioneering 18th-century scientist and the first woman to hold a professorship in Europe.
This scholarship program is open to researchers in all academic disciplines (e.g., literature, history, science, engineering), and awards are given out three times a year. With the scholarship funds going entirely towards editorial support, awardees can receive assistance tailored to their needs, ranging from master's thesis editing to doctoral dissertation editing and academic article editing.
