International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS), University of Sounthern Queensland, AustraliaInternational Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) are awarded to Doctor of Philosophy international students undertaking quality research (fundamental or applied) in areas of research specialisation at USQ. The successful applicants will have their tuition fees and Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), as required by holders of a student visa met by the Australian Government. In addition USQ provides a fortnightly stipend to contribute towards living expenses.

Eligibility
To be eligible applicants must:
- be eligible to be enrolled full-time in a Higher Degree by Research at the University of Southern Queensland
- not be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident (*Note: Australian permanent resident includes holders of Australian permanent humanitarian visas)
- not previously have held an Australian Government-funding postgraduate research scholarship unless it was terminated within six months of the commencement of benefits
- not be in receipt of similar funding from the Australian Government
- commence the degree by the date set by the University or the scholarship may be withdrawn and reallocated to another applicant.
