About the INOV Research Scholarship
This Research Initiation Scholarship 2025 aims to support students beginning their journey in research and development (R&D). The selected scholar will contribute to the Liber24 project, which focuses on creating firmware and Android applications for Liber+, a groundbreaking Braille computer designed for visually impaired users.
Eligible Nationalities
Open to applicants of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
- Be enrolled in a professional higher technical course (preferably TeSP in Information Systems Programming).
- Have strong motivation for research.
- Demonstrate relevant academic background and experience related to the project’s scope.
Scholarship Work Plan
As a Research Initiation Scholar at INOV, you will:
- Study Android 10 functionalities and limitations relevant to the project.
- Participate in training sessions and practical testing on the Liber24 platform.
- Develop and test Android apps integrated into the platform.
- Produce technical reports and supporting project documentation.
