The State Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.), in collaboration with Fulbright Greece, is pleased to announce the opening of the 2025-2026 academic year mobility scholarships for American PhD candidates. This initiative supports the exchange of knowledge between Greece and the U.S. by offering up to four scholarships for six-month research placements in Greek universities and research institutions. The program is open to all scientific disciplines and covers travel, accommodation, and research expenses, fostering academic collaboration between Greek and American institutions.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IKY-Fulbright PhD Research Award, applicants must:
- Be a US citizen
- Be enrolled in a PhD program at a recognized US university
- Have completed all coursework and comprehensive exams
- Propose a research project that aligns with the research interests of a Greek university or research institution
