ECUST China 2025 Graduate Scholarships for International Students (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, PhD level programs at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST).

Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) - Fully Funded
Available under two types:
- Type A: Apply through your home country’s international education authorities.
- Type B: Direct application via the CGS Information Management System (Agency Number: 10251).
Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) - Fully Funded
- Submit applications through the official SGS portal.
Tuition and Fees for ECUST Graduate Programs
- Master’s Programs
- Chinese-Taught: 28,000 CNY/Year
- English-Taught: 42,000 CNY/Year
- Ph.D. Programs
- Chinese-Taught: 35,000 CNY/Year
- English-Taught: 44,000 CNY/Year
- Accommodation: 80–110 CNY/day
- Insurance: 800 CNY/year
Eligible Nationalities
This scholarship is open to internationals students of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
Language Requirements:
- Chinese-taught programs: Minimum HSK 5 (210) or HSK 6 (180).
- English-taught programs: TOEFL 80, IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 105, or proof of English-taught degrees.
- Native English speakers are exempt from language proficiency requirements.
Application Procedure
How to Apply for ECUST Graduate Programs
- Online Application: Visit the ECUST Online Application System to submit your application.
- Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of 600 CNY must be paid online or via bank transfer.
Required Documents:
- Passport copy (valid until September 1, 2026 or later)
- Highest degree certificates and transcripts
- Language proficiency proof (HSK, TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores)
- Study Plan (minimum 800 words)
- Two Recommendation Letters from professors
- Physical Examination Form
- Non-criminal record certificate
- Financial support statement
