The Hatfield Lioness Scholarship 2025 is a prestigious fully funded opportunity aimed at empowering female students from developing countries where access to higher education is limited. Established in 2018 to commemorate 30 years of women at Hatfield College, Durham University in the UK, this scholarship enables exceptional candidates to pursue a full-time taught Master’s degree in the UK.

Durham University UK Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters level programs at Durham University.
Available Subjects
Supported Study Programmes
- The scholarship is available for full-time taught Master’s degree programmes.
- Excludes MBA, PhD, and research-based Master’s programmes.
- The course must begin in September/October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship, applicants must:
- Be a woman from one of the eligible developing countries.
- Have applied for and received an unconditional offer for a Master’s degree at Durham University by June 2025.
- Not hold any other scholarship for postgraduate studies.
- Fulfill all entry requirements for their chosen course, including English language proficiency.
- Not already possess a Master’s degree.
- Demonstrate financial need and lack of alternative funding sources.
Application Procedure
The application consists of two stages:
Academic Application:
- Apply for a Master’s programme at Durham University.
- Mention the intention to apply for the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship within the application.
Scholarship Application:
- Submit the Hatfield Lioness Scholarship application form and supporting documents via email.
Required documents include:
Durham University offer letter.
- Academic transcripts.
- Two references.
- IELTS certificate (if required for admission).

Selection Timeline
