The Brunei Ministry of Foreign Affairs is excited to announce the opening of applications for the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024/25. This fully funded scholarship welcomes international students for Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs at Brunei universities for the academic session 2024/2025.
The academic year starts in July/August 2024. The scholarship by the government of Brunei Darussalam covers Airfare, Full Tuition Fee, accommodation, monthly stipend, and health insurance for the entire program duration. The benefits offered by the encompass:
- Full Tuition Fee Exemption: Covers acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees for the entire program duration.
- Economy Class Airfare: A ticket to Brunei Darussalam.
- Monthly Stipend: BND$500.00 for personal expenses.
- Monthly Meal Allowance: BND$150.00 to aid with food expenses.
- Annual Book Allowance: BND$600.00 allocated for academic materials.
- Accommodation: Provided at the university's residential college or polytechnic.
- Baggage Allowance: Provided for both ASEAN and non-ASEAN countries - BND$250.00 and BND$500.00, respectively.
- Comprehensive Insurance Coverage: Ensures overall health and well-being during the program.
Eligible Nationalities

- Not exceed the age of 25, for Undergraduate, and Diploma programs
- Not exceed the age of 35, for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs
- Be proficient in English

- Certified true copies of academic qualifications and supporting documents (certificates, transcripts, testimonials).
- Certified English translations of the supporting documents if applicable.
- Certified true copies of Birth Certificate and Passport.
- References and recommendations from referees (C1 and C2).
