If you are pursuing a master’s degree in library and information science (MLS) and need financial assistance, the American Library Association (ALA) is now accepting applications for the 2025 ALA Scholarship program. With more than $300,000 in funds available, the ALA is committed to supporting students studying in accredited library science programs or school library media programs at the graduate level.

For those interested in school librarianship, attending a program that follows ALA curriculum guidelines for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) is mandatory.
