Eligible Nationalities
This fellowship is open to applicants of all nationalities.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025, candidates must:
- Hold a PhD degree at the time of application.
- Have no more than 8 years of research experience after the PhD.
- Comply with MSCA mobility rules (must not have resided in Ireland for more than 12 months in the last 3 years).
- Propose a research project aligning with ADAPT’s priority areas and supervised by an ADAPT academic.

- Review of EoIs & Supervisor Meetings: April – May 2025
- Full Proposal Draft Submission to ADAPT: August 1, 2025
- Final MSCA PF Submission Deadline: September 10, 2025
- Fellowship Start: Upon successful EU funding decision (typically early 2026)
Application Process
- Submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) via the ADAPT Centre portal by May 31, 2025.
- Selected candidates will be matched with a supervisor and receive full support from ADAPT’s Research Development Team.
- Develop and submit a competitive research proposal by the September 10, 2025 MSCA deadline.
Funding Details
- Salary: Approximately €75,000 annually (includes living and mobility allowances).
