Description
The OSCE and UNODA are hosting the fifth edition of the yearly Scholarship for Peace and Security. This is a comprehensive training program that focuses on “Conflict prevention and resolution through arms control, disarmament, and non-proliferation”.
The OSCE and UNODA are striving hard for an inclusive and gender-balanced approach to security and peace. The main purpose of the training program is to engage young individuals in conflict prevention through a new perspective on controlling weapons.
The scholarship works towards creating equal opportunities for everyone by empowering the participation of women in planning, policy-making, and implementation. This is an 8-week online program with a week of in-person training course in Austria.

Eligibility Criteria
- a national of one of the OSCE participating States or Partners for Co-operation?
- between 22 and 32 years old at the time of application?
- eager to engage into conflict prevention and resolution, arms control, non-proliferation, disarmament with a specific focus on OSCE-relevant instruments?
- keen on exchanging fresh ideas, expanding your network and understanding career development opportunities in the respective areas?
