The applicants must have received an offer of admission to one of our master’s courses.
Application Procedure
- To apply for funding, a candidate must have received an offer of admission to one of our master’s courses. The scholarship application form will be made available to eligible students via the me@reading applicant portal and will be accessible up until the closing date.
- The study may be on a full-time or part-time basis but flexible learning / part-time modular master’s courses are excluded.
- Each scholarship for an international student is worth £4,000 and for UK / Republic of Ireland students (whose tuition fees are ordinarily lower), the amount is £2,000.
- Scholarships take the form of a tuition fee reduction and your tuition fees are confirmed when an offer of admission is made.
- Scholarships are awarded primarily based on previous academic accomplishments.
- There are two rounds of scholarship applications. Round one closes on 1 March 2022 and round two will consider applications received by 15 June 2022. Candidates unsuccessful in round one automatically go forward for consideration in round two, provided they still hold a valid offer of admission to an eligible course.
- Where a candidate is eligible for both a Centenary Scholarship and Subject Scholarship, it is only necessary to complete one application – you will be considered for both awards and it is possible to be selected for both, doubling the amount of funding that we are providing.
